‘My Windfarm and me’ picture
Take a natural photo of people enjoying the benefits the wind farm has brought to the community, if possible with a wind turbine visible in the background.
- Show people in a real, everyday moment.
- If you can, include the wind turbine in the background.
- Make sure the photo is clear, bright and natural.
How to take the best picture with a mobile phone
- Use natural daylight if possible. Morning or late afternoon light usually looks best.
- Keep the light behind you, not behind the people, so faces are clear.
- Hold the phone steady with both hands.
- Clean the camera lens before taking the picture.
- Tap the screen on the people’s faces so the phone focuses properly.
- Take the photo in landscape (horizontal) but also vertical for Social Media purposes.
- Leave some space around the people so the wind turbine can also be seen.
- Take a few versions from slightly different angles and distances.
